Privacy at FinInterns

The short version

FinInterns is an unincorporated personal project. We collect only what we need to run the board and send the optional weekly digest. For any privacy question, email support@fininterns.com.

When you visit the board

Server logs (IP, user agent, path, timestamp) are kept briefly for operational debugging. We don’t run any analytics scripts on the site, set no analytics cookies, and don’t track visitor behavior. Aggregated search-performance data comes from Google Search Console, which never touches your browser.

When you submit a report, suggestion, or subscribe

Broken-link reports store only the posting ID, with no name or email attached. Company suggestions arrive at our inbox via your own email client; we see what you wrote. If you subscribe to the weekly digest, we store your email address (lower-cased) in our database to send you the digest, along with a confirmation timestamp and unsubscribe tokens. The forms are bot-protected so junk submissions don’t reach the database.

What we don’t collect

Names, resumes, application activity, precise location, advertising identifiers, demographic data. We don’t maintain profiles of individual users, and we never share or sell your email.

Your choices

Every digest email has a one-click unsubscribe link; it’s immediate. To request deletion of your subscription record beyond unsubscribing, email support@fininterns.com; we respond within 14 days.

Applications happen on company websites with their own privacy policies. We’ll note material changes to this page with a new effective date.
